The order of my open tabs doesn't match the order of the data in my Excel file. What should I do?
Listly's web scraping algorithm sets a specific page or task as a reference point first, then sorts the remaining data based on this reference.
As shown in the image above, if you open tabs sequentially, running the Listly extension on the last opened tab (Page 5) makes that page the tab source (aka the reference point for data extraction from each browser tab).
The browser tab where you opened the Listly extension and scraped becomes the tab source or the reference for data scraping. The task highlighted in green, here, indicates the tab source and current task location.
When downloading data to Excel, the selected task data will appear first, with remaining data arranged based on this source data order. Remember to get started with scraping from the browser tab you want to use as your tab source to ensure your data is ordered correctly.
