Extract images from any website
💡 What is Listly's Image Downloader?
Image Downloader is a new feature that allows users to input image URLs extracted with Listly and directly download image files based on those URLs. It also supports labeling images according to the order of data entries arranged in Excel, enabling users to download image data sequentially.
How to use Image Downloader
01 Get your image URLs ready for download
If you extracted data, including images, from a website and saved it into an Excel file, you would see the image URLs displayed, highlighted in blue in the image above.
02 Find the image URLs in the Excel file
Sometimes, there may be multiple columns containing URLs. By clicking on each one, you can determine which directs you to an image. It is recommended to rename the column label to something related to images.
03 Find the texts (e.g., product names) to use as the image file names
In this example, we combined text from two cells (LABEL-3: Brand name / LABEL-4: Product name) for easier use.
04 Import the Excel file to Image Downloader
By clicking on the 'Click to Load Excel' button, import the Excel file that includes your image URLs.
05 Select image URL and file name columns
If the file is successfully imported, a dropdown menu will be automatically activated, allowing you to select data columns. Select the image URL and file name columns, respectively.
06 Preview images
Once complete, you'll be able to preview up to 3 images along with their file names. Click 'Download'.
07 Download images
You can check the download status in real time. If you want to stop the download, click the grey X button.
08 Check the image files in the downloaded folder.
Once the download is complete, a folder named after the website domain will be created.
Click the folder to check the image files sorted according to the column order!
Should I upload an Excel file? Are there any other upload options?
Yes, you can copy and paste the image URLs to download them with temporary file names. Specifying file names is optional :)
01 Copy the image URLs you have from any source
02 Paste the image URLs to the left field, "Image URLs"
03 Select file name options
- Numbering : Mark the images with numbers or assign numbers to them sequentially.
- Original Name : Download the images using the file names assigned by the website.
- Manual Input : Manually enter image file names.
*In this beta version, numbers are added to the beginning of the file names to maintain the order of the downloaded files.
